FUNCTIONAL SKILLS TUTOR

Location: Liverpool City Centre or Kirby (hybrid considered)
Salary: £29,000 & benefits

Seeking an engaging Functional Skills Tutor with a passion for working and impacting the futures of young people.

If you have a natural ability to deliver fun and interactive teaching sessions, this could be the perfect fit!

Overview:

Working for a leading Youth Charity, you will deliver Functional Skills English and Maths at levels 1-3 for unemployed 16-24 year olds on a 12 week pre-employment programme.

A typical week:

-Carry out initial & ongoing assessments
-Deliver English & Maths sessions to groups
-Support learners achieve L1,2,3 Functional Skills
-Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure success

You will need the following:

-Functional Skills delivery experience
-Teaching qualification at L3
-Experience working with young people/NEETs
-A confident & engaging style of delivery
-Assessor/IQA/IAG qualification (desirable)
