Salary: Up to £60,000, 4 day week + excellent benefits
Seeking an experienced, senior level local authority finance specialist with a passion for providing insights and technical guidance to the public sector.
Overview:
Working for a leading accountancy body, you will provide financial insights to members, answer technical queries, and deliver tailored communications and events.
A typical week:
-Engagement with members
-Respond to detailed technical enquiries
-Research, collate & deliver insights & events
-Liaise with stakeholders on legislation changes
You'll need the following:
-3 years senior level local authority finance experience
-Detailed knowledge of Local Authority Accounting Code of Practice
-Good knowledge of collection fund, revenue contracts & accruals
-Experience delivering workshops/training
