PUBLIC SECTOR FINANCE ADVISOR

Location: Flexible (Remote/hybrid)
Salary: Up to £60,000, 4 day week + excellent benefits

Seeking an experienced, senior local authority finance specialist with a passion for providing insights, technical guidance and training.

Overview:

Working for a leading finance institute, you will provide financial insights to members (local authorities), answer technical queries, and deliver tailored communications and training.

A typical week:

-Engagement with members
-Respond to detailed technical enquiries
-Research, collate & deliver insights, training & events
-Liaise with stakeholders on legislation changes

You'll need the following:

-3 years senior local authority finance experience
-Knowledge of the Local Authority Accounting Code of Practice
-Experience delivering training/insights
-CIPFA or equivalent qualified (desirable)
